These mosaics were made by the residents of a Senior Affordable
Housing Complex in La Quinta, Ca. The students were all new to mosaics
when they began to study this ancient art form. Their acquired skills
are apparent in these pictures as they worked with fine mosaic
materials such as vitreous glass and smalti. They are currently
