One early morning, my wife and I decided to go to Laughlin, NV for some relaxation. We packed up a few things and took the desert roads from La Quinta,CA to Laughlin.

  1. Great pictures, Hans! We are planning on visiting Oatman within the next few days; we’ll watch for those cute donkeys! he ha!

  2. Your photography is superb! I enjoyed taking this little journey, as if in the back seat of your car, listening to you and your wife chat about each scene as we went along…

The casual comments with each shot make them interesting to scroll through.

  3. Beautiful pictures Hans! I love the donkeys! ;)

  4. It truly is a small world! I don’t ever remember hearing the name Lake Havesu, although I am sure I did somewhere in connection to the London Bridge. Now I have two students, from different countries blogging about it! I have to tell Deb, one of the blogging basics students about the donkey pictures. I don’t think I have ever had two students blogging about donkeys before either :-P

I love the spectrum of blues that you captured in your London Bridge picture. It is so rich and varied. It is gorgeous how the blues transform, both horizontally and vertically across the image. You did a great job of framing that shot.
